Club Tour – June 1, 2014

Join the Nebraska Agribusiness Club on June 1, 2015 as we head to Denton and Grand Island to tour New Hope Gardens, Raising Nebraska and Ficke Cattle Company for our all-day club tour!

Members participation is included with your membership; non members must pay $20 for the tour.

Tour Agenda – June 1, 2015

8:00 a.m. Meet at Fallbrook to board the bus. Please park and board the bus just west of the Fallbrook Development Office
8:45 – 9:45 a.m. Chet Bennetts, Farmer Veteran Coalition and Homegrown by Heroes
               Jason Carthel, New Hope Gardens
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Travel time – Trivia and prizes for the road
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m Lunch with Nebraska State Fair speaker Jaime Parr
12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Raising Nebraska Tour 
2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Travel time – Trivia and prizes for the road
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Ficke Cattle Company
5:00 p.m. Arrive back in Fallbrook

2015 Award Nominations Available

The Nebraska Agribusiness Club would like to announce that nomination forms for the Public Service to Agriculture and New Horizon awards are now available.

Public Service to Agriculture Award has been presented annually since 1967. The award recognized individuals who have made significant contributions to Nebraska agriculture and Nebraska agribusiness.

New Horizon Award is an award that recognizes individuals 40 years of age and younger who are upcoming leaders in the agricultural industry.

Nominations for both awards are due by July 15, 2015. Nominations are encouraged from non-club members, as well as club members. The nomination forms and more information can be found at the links below or by emailing nebraskaagribusinessclub@gmail.com.
