Join Us in Supporting the Food Bank of Lincoln

FoodBankofLincoln

Did you know there are more than 50,000 food-insecure individuals in just 16 counties of Nebraska? Food-insecure individuals are defined as those people who don’t know where their next meal will come from and more than 18,000 of them are children.

The mission of the Food Bank of Lincoln is to alleviate hunger in Southeast Nebraska. Out of the 16 counties it serves, Lancaster, Gage, Nemaha, Richardson and Saline or the highest-need counties.

As an outlet to promote the value of agriculture to our community, the Nebraska Agribusiness Club has formed a unique partnership with the Food Bank of Lincoln. Your donations to the Food Bank of Lincoln from now until Ag Week will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 from the Nebraska Agribusiness Club.

Join the campaign to raise $10,000 for the Food Bank of Lincoln by making a gift online at http://www.lincolnfoodbank.org/NebraskaAg.

For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can provide $5 worth of meals to those in need!

Help us spread the word to our family, friends and co-workers. Corporate donations will also be matched.
