Club members and guests heard from Dan Rice of PrairieLand Dairy at the May Lunch -n-Learn meeting in Lincoln. Dan shared about his role at the dairy, the future direction and plans for the business.

Club Tour Agenda and RSVP

The Nebraska Agribusiness Club Tour will be June 3, 2013 to Nebraska City. The schedule for the day is as follows:

Schedule:

8:30 am: Depart from Walmart parking lot-8700 Andermatt Drive (84^th and Hwy 2) Map

9:30: Arrive at Kregel Windmill Factory Museum

11:00: Arrive at Arbor Tree Farm

Renewable Fuels Tour & Awesome Adventure

1:00: Lunch at Kimmel Orchard and Vineyard

1:30: Hayrack ride and wine tasting/Apple barn tour

**Wine tasting is $5 for 4 tastes and you keep the glass.  This cost is not included in the $20 tour cost

3:00: Load bus to return to Lincoln

4:00: Back in Lincoln and unload at Walmart on 84^th and Hwy 2

Additional notes:

1)      Tour Cost: $20/person which includes transportation, pulled pork lunch with fresh baked pie, admissions, and tour fees

2)      Spouses and guests are invited

3)      Snacks and bottled water will be provided on the bus as lunch won’t be served until 1:00 pm, but feel free to bring your own snacks/beverages on the bus.
